I am a Clinical Psychologist with a specialization in Forensic Psychology. I received my PhD in clinical psychology from the University of Saskatchewan in 2012. Throughout my training and career I have focused my clinical work and research on various aspects of criminal justice and psychology, including intimate partner violence, sexual offending, violent offending, substance use disorders, and problematic pornography use. I have provided psychological assessment and treatment services in correctional facilities, inpatient and outpatient mental health facilities, substance use facilities, and private settings.
My clinical experience includes service provision to both adults and adolescents, though I have most recently specialized in working with adolescents who have sexual behavior problems. I am available for court-ordered psychological assessments for adults and youth as well as court-ordered treatment services for youth and adults.
All forensic treatment plans are developed using the empirically developed Principles of Effective Correctional Treatment designed to reduce major risk factors and to enhance major protective or strength factors.
